Hi,

Did anybody had ankle talus allograft surgery ?

I had one  September 2015 and I am just looking to see if you had any difficulty when you started putting  weight bearing how long it take for the limping to GO A WAY . I just want to help each other with questions and answers please.

I am 6 month now after my surgery and I still have soreness and having hard time walking after I sit down  especially after I exercise the foot it get stiff and so sore to walk on, and the last 2 weeks I been having a sharp staping pain shooting almost from the area where the had to break my talus to the left side of my of the ankle because they had to break my talus and put it back with 2 screws.

I don't know if to early for the soreness to go a way ?

Any body having the same thing

Please if you had this surgery can you respond ?
Thanks

Mosaicplasty and OATS is basically the same thing. Mosaicplasty is just more than one plug. The term OATS is used more often. (For example I had 2 plugs, technically mosaicplasty).
